Philips™ Dreamwear Nasal Pillows Mask
The DreamWear Silicone Pillows CPAP mask from Philips Respironics pairs a softer, lighter nasal pillow cushion with the innovative DreamWear mask system. The DreamWear mask system has numerous unique features to keep your line of sight clear, ensure freedom of movement, and enhance your comfort. Airflow from the CPAP machine travels via a top-of-the-head connection through a hollow, open-faced frame to the silicone nasal pillow cushion. The newest nasal pillows from Philips Respironics offer an enhanced fit and seal. The DreamWear Silicone Pillows mask also includes the slip-resistant DreamWear Headgear with Arms. The modular design of the DreamWear line of masks allows for rapid conversion from the under-the-nose cushion to nasal pillows, giving the CPAP user flexible, efficient options. Users can even swap out the headgear and the cushion to change from nasal pillows to full face mask and back as well.

All-new, all-silicone pillows
Manufactured entirely from soft, smooth silicone, the nasal pillow cushion in the DreamWear Silicone Pillows CPAP mask delivers an even gentler touch inside the nares and under the nose than the original DreamWear Gel nasal pillows. The new pillow design fits and seals even better as well. The cushion shifts less. Less shifting means less friction in the nares. Using data compiled from a vast database of 3D facial scans, Philips Respironics also chose to add a 4th pillow size (medium-wide) to its Silicone Pillows CPAP Mask offering. With small, medium, wide, and medium-wide choices, everyone can find a pillow size to fit their unique facial features.
Unobtrusive, comfortable design
The DreamWear Silicone Pillows mask leaves in place all the features of the existing DreamWear masks for sleep apnea therapy. The Silicone Pillows mask uses the Dream Wear’s hollow silicone frame with a connection to the CPAP circuit at a swivel elbow located on top of the frame at the crown of the head. The top-of-the-head connection keeps the CPAP tubing out of your way and out of your partner’s way all night long. The frame is compressible, so side-sleeping and stomach sleeping do not compromise sleep therapy. The frame encircles the face, with nothing in front of the eyes. The silicone frame comes in three sizes so everyone can match it to their head dimensions. Stable, slip-resistant fit The DreamWear Silicone Pillows CPAP mask comes with the DreamWear Headgear with Arms, the latest enhanced version of DreamWear headgear. The DreamWear Headgear with Arms incorporates an eyeglass-like fit above the ears. The arms run from the silicone frame, over the ears, and to the back of the head strap. The curve of the eyeglass arms halts mask slippage during the night. In a Philips Respironics study, users of the original DreamWear headgear reported better quality sleep and more mask stability when using the DreamWear Headgear with Arms.
Sizing and Fitting
The DreamWear Silicone Nasal Pillow CPAP Mask comes in three frame sizes (small, medium, and large), and the nasal pillows come in four sizes (small, medium, large, and medium-wide). Careful sizing of both the nasal pillows and the frame is key to reaping the full benefits of this mask.
The silicone tip of the pillows should rest inside the nostrils. The circular silicone rim at the base of the tips should rest entirely outside the nostrils.
The Fit Pack includes a medium frame and all four sizes of nasal pillows The medium frame included in the DreamWear Fit Pack fits most people, but if there are leaks or frustrations with tightness or pillow movement away from the nostrils despite having the right size nasal pillows, you may need a smaller or larger frame.
To get the best fit for comfort and effective CPAP delivery:
- First, place the nasal pillows under the nose
- Next, position the elbow connector at the top of the head
- Pull the headgear behind the head
- Adjust the fit evenly with both tabs on the headgea
